Salomon Technical Ski Jacket

Salomon began their journey in 1947 when Francois Salomon established his metalworks shop near the French Alps. By the 1970s they had established themselves as leading ski binding manufacturers and developed their innovative process further into producing wider ranges of ski equipment. After transferring their expertise over into the hiking industry and developing their first range of trail footwear, they were acquired by Adidas in 1997 which saw an increase in their development of clothing and sportswear. The ‘Advanced Skin’ range was an outlet for technical design during this period with a strong focus on comfort and body movement being seen in their design approach.

This particular piece is constructed from Salomon’s clima pro materials for comfort and warmth whilst remaining breathable. There are 2 standard hand pockets and a chest pocket worked into the panelling, with a storage compartment on the arm. These pockets also contains unique Salomon branded hardware in the pocket and a soft sponge on the chest pcoket for wiping goggles clean. There is also an interior liner which can be detached and worn alone, and there is also an interior pocket and powder skirt. The cuffs are also expandable.
