Roberto Cavalli Corduroy Trousers

Roberto Cavalli Corduroy Trousers

Roberto Cavalli began his career at his local Art institute where he studied textile prints, something that would later launch his career andallow him to gain global popularity. In the 1970s he developed his own patented printing and patchwork procedures on Leather which would earn him commissions from Hermès when he displayed them. This lead to the opening of his first boutique in 1972. By the 1990s Roberto Cavalli had expanded into luxury accessories as well as diffusion lines in the 2000s, aimed at different audiences whilst still keeping true to his original style. Throughout his career, Cavalli never strayed far from the printing techniques that first gained his recognition, and his expert craftmanship and material selection is evident in all of his pieces.

This pair is no exception, with a beautiful mushroom/pink corduroy construction which doesn’t fail to catch the eye. However, the details really make this piece, with an intricate serrated hem and a flower on the waist patch that has been crafted from a selection of suede and leather materials.
