Quiksilver Endurance Mechanical Puffer Ski Jacket
Quiksilver Endurance Mechanical Puffer Ski Jacket
In 1969, Australian wetsuit manufacturers Alan Green and John Law saw a gap in the surfing market for ‘boardshorts’ and began making their own. Quiksilver was officially launched in 1973 off the back of this initial success, with the boardshorts being their flagship product. It was not until the early 90s that they expanded into other markets and began producing gear for all boardsports, which solidified their position as one of the leaders of the sportswear market. The ‘Quiksilver name is derived from the old term for the turning of base metals into gold, which aligned with the company’s goal to turn good fabrics into brilliant products.
This particular piece is a perfect example of the highly functional and unique designs of some of the snow pieces from Quiksilver. It features a water resistant nylon exterior with unique down panelling arrangement that takes inspiration from robotic structures to build the outer shell. There are 2 standard hand pockets on the exterior, a stash pocket by the main zipper and another on the interior with headphone compatability. The insulated hood, hem and cuffs are fully adjustable, with interior cuffs for keeping the snow out. There are also pit zips for ventilation and an interior powder skirt which can be removed when not in use, just like the padded hood.
Good condition with some minor signs of wear.
