Oakley Topcoat FMJ White/Black Iridium - 1997

Oakley Topcoat FMJ White/Black Iridium - 1997

In 1984, Oakley made their move into the eyewear market, which they would go on to completely revolutionise with ground-breaking designs. The ‘Jacket’ family of sunglasses aimed to produce frames that fit the face like clothing fits the body, starting with the ‘Eye Jacket’ in 1994. The popularity of this range propelled the brand forward and solidified their position as a leader of innovation.

The Topcoat was released in 1997 following on from the popular ‘Eye’ & ‘Straight’ Jacket models. It is constructed from Oakley’s signature O-Matter material and offers Oakley's XYZ Optics that eradicates distortion from your field of view, improved peripheral vision and provides a solid barrier for the eyes. The Topcoat was only produced for a short period and discontinued before the millennium, making them one of the hardest O-Matter frames to find in wearable condition today.

Great condition with only very minor signs of wear to the frame and lenses.

AUTHENTICITY GUARANTEED - we are one of the world’s leading Oakley archivists specialising in 100% genuine pieces from the brand’s exceptional history.
