Oakley TFG SI Laser-Cut Parka

Oakley TFG SI Laser-Cut Parka

Oakley was founded in 1975 by avid motocross fan Jim Jannard who named the brand after his pet dog ‘Oakley Anne’. He started out by producing motorcycle grips constructed from ‘Unobtainium’, a unique rubber material that he had created which offered the best grip in wet conditions. It wasn’t until 1984 that Oakley made their move into the eyewear market, which they would go on to completely revolutionise. During the 90s they decided to transfer their innovative expertise into the clothing market. The Standard Issue line specialised in producing heavy-duty technical designs for a wide range of clothing either made for or deriving from the pieces made for the special forces.

This particular piece from the 2000s features a heavy-duty ripstop exterior with a layer insulation for warmth. There are 2 large pockets and an interior stash pocket. The side panels feature military laser-cutting detailing and the fur around the hood can be removed. There is also a small compartment and attachment loops on the right arm.

Great condition with very minor signs of wear.
