Oakley Software Contrast Ski Jacket

Oakley Software Contrast Ski Jacket

Oakley was founded in 1975 by avid motocross fan Jim Jannard who named the brand after his pet dog ‘Oakley Anne’. He started out by producing motorcycle grips constructed from ‘Unobtanium’, a unique rubber material that he had created which offered the best grip in wet conditions. It wasn’t until 1984 that Oakley made their move into the eyewear market, which they would go on to completely revolutionise. During the 90s they decided to transfer their innovative expertise into the clothing market. The Software label specialised in producing unique and technical designs for a wide range of clothing, further cementing Oakley’s position as a leader of innovation.

This particular jacket is constructed from a high-quality waterproof Nylon material with Polyester lining for warmth. The jacket features lovely panelling highlighted by the contrasting white stitching. There are a total of 5 pockets that have been worked into the panelling, 4 on the front and 1 in the back panel. There are also 2 pit zips for ventilation and 2 chest zips that open the jacket up for further ventilation, but also to allow the wearer to access any layers underneath without unzipping the jacket. Adjustable collar, hem and cuffs and an interior ski skirt that can be secured and brought into use when needed, round off this beautiful technical piece from Oakley.

Good condition with some minor signs of wear and age.
