Oakley Software Packtwo Backpack

Oakley Software Packtwo Backpack

Oakley was founded in 1975 by avid motorcross fan Jim Jannard who named the brand after his pet dog ‘Oakley Anne’. He started out by producing motorcycle grips constructed from ‘Unobtainium’, a unique rubber material that he had created which offered a far better grip in wet conditions. It wasn’t until 1984 that Oakley made their move into the eyewear market, which they would go on to completely revolutionise. During the 90s they decided to transfer their innovative expertise into the clothing market. However, the turn of the millennium signified a new era of ‘Mad Science’ design, beginning with Oakley launching an extensive collection under their ‘Software’ label which specialised in a wide range of technical clothing and accessories including backpacks like these.

These backpacks were launched in 1999 and constructed from heavy duty ballistic nylon. It features a plethora of storage options, containing concealable compartments on the front layer and a larger spacious main compartment behind. It also feature an expandable hardshell front section designed to carry helmets and boards. There are hooks and clips to secure the backpack and add extra attachment options. All backpacks also feature thermo-moulded panels at the back, with unique ergonomic padding for comfort and signature Oakley branding.

Great condition with minor signs of wear and age.
