Oakley ‘Mad Science’ MTB Shorts

By the end of the 1990s, Oakley had revolutionised the eyewear market with their unique approach to design. Their expansion into the clothing market had also proved to be a success by developing a wide range of high performance gear. However, the turn of the millennium signified a new era of ‘Mad Science’ design, pushed heavily by founder Jim Jannard and encapsulated by the launch of Oakley’s wildest & most iconic pieces of all time. This new design approach spanned across all departments, including the clothing division leading to the production of more considered and highly technical performance pieces like the ones above.

The MTB shorts are constructed from a mix of lightweight breathable fabrics and hard-wearing materials which allows for a consistently durable and comfortable fit in a variety of conditions. They feature unique panelling with storage compartments on each thigh for valuables and front ventilation holes.
