Oakley Eye Jacket T-Shirt

Oakley Eye Jacket T-Shirt

Oakley was founded in 1975 by avid motocross fan Jim Jannard who named the brand after his pet dog ‘Oakley Anne’. He started out by producing motorcycle grips constructed from ‘Unobtanium’, a unique rubber material that he had created which offered the best grip in wet conditions. It wasn’t until 1984 that Oakley made their move into the eyewear market, which they would go on to completely revolutionise. During the 90s they decided to transfer their innovative expertise into the clothing market. The Software label specialised in producing unique and technical designs for a wide range of clothing, further cementing Oakley’s position as a leader of innovation.

Oakley were known for producing graphic t-shirts with unique designs that reflected the brands ethos during this period. This particular t-shirt features a copy of a famous Eye Jacket 1994 advert printed on the front.
