Mandarina Duck is an Italian fashion brand founded in 1977 by Paolo Trento and Pietro Mannato. Originally specializing in leather goods and travel items, the brand became recognized for its bold color choices in a market saturated with classic styles and monochrome products. By the late 90s, Mandarina Duck expanded into the apparel market with the help of British designer Jeff Griffin. The well-considered apparel from that time featured in-house, proprietary fabrics which were developed solely for Mandarina Duck.
