Levi’s Red Tab
Levi’s Red Tab Tactical Stealth Jacket
Levi’s Red Tab Tactical Stealth Jacket
Levi's began working with legendary outerwear designer Massimo Osti in the late 1990s, after his departure from C.P. Company & Stone Island. Following some successful freelance work for sub-brand Dockers ‘Equipment for legs’, Levi’s brought Osti on for the development of their new technical Industrial Clothing Division (ICD) line and later to work with Philips on the ICD+ range. This particular jacket is from the ‘Red Tab’ line that followed after the cancellation of ICD. The Red Tab range was designed by Levi’s in-house team and featured many jackets that took direct design inspiration from the work Osti had done at Levi’s. These pieces represent the more experimental route Levi's at the turn of the millennium with their more unique technical designs.
This piece has a construction that is similar to that of Osti-era Stone Island jackets. The technical stealth pocket system on the front is inspired by the ICD Mooring Jacket, utilising the same zip and Velcro security. There are multiple storage options hidden by the stealth flaps, one of which is tailored for a mobile phone. This piece is another excellent example of Massimo Osti's endless ability to inspire the industry with his forward-thinking designs, brilliantly executed by Levi’s.
Great condition with some signs of wear - no hood.
