Kering Sample Technical Modular Jacket

Kering Sample Technical Modular Jacket

This piece is an early production sample from 2020, made by the luxury group Kering for one of their fashion houses. However, the factory tags don’t indicate which brand they intended to produce this sample for, so which Kering-owned brand do you think could have released this jacket: Gucci, Saint Laurent, Bottega Veneta, Balenciaga, Alexander McQueen or Brioni?

Kering is a luxury retail conglomerate which began in 1962 as a timber-trading company, before making the switch to luxury retail in the 1990s after being listed on the Paris Stock Exchange. They currently own a selection of high-end couture and leather goods brands as well as expanding into jewellery and eyewear.

The piece is constructed from waterproof materials with tqped seams and clearly takes direct inspiration from ACRONYM jackets in the style and construction with features like the signature asymmetrical chest pocket and interior shoulder straps. However, they have incorporated a modular approach by making the zip-off pockets interchangeable between the chest, hem and interior lining. It also features a selection of pockets on the torso and wrap-around pockets on the cuff with a slip hole for the thumb.

Great condition with no flaws!
