Kadoya ‘K’s Leather’ Swedish 1950s Military Motorcycle Jacker
Kadoya ‘K’s Leather’ Swedish 1950s Military Motorcycle Jacker
Kadoya was founded by Shojiro Fukano in Asakusa, 1935 (where they still operate from) and remains as the oldest leather jacket manufacturer in Japan. Since the beginning they have specialised in the manufacturing of extremely high quality leather pieces, repairs, dyes and made to order custom products. The popularity of these products amongst motorcycle riders across Japan, and even Amercian soldiers that were stationed there in WWII, allowed Kadoya to gain a cult following and solidify their position as one of the best leather specialists in the world. The spirit of challenge, innovation and quality has never wavered across their 90 year history, and is still evident in the products they make today.
This particular piece from the K’s Leather line is based off a Swedish Military motorcycle jacket from the 1950s era, with the large square pouch pocket on the front. It is constructed from high quality leather with wool lining for warmth. There are buttons running along the side and interior of the jacket, as well as metal hooks and clips for securing the jacket.
Great condition with very minor signs of wear.
