Hermès Canvas Bomber With Leather Detailing

Hermès Canvas Bomber With Leather Detailing

Hermès was established in 1837 by Thierry Hermès as a harness workshop dedicated to serving European nobility with finely crafted equestrian goods. For decades the house remained rooted in exceptional leather craftsmanship, gradually expanding into saddlery and travel goods as new generations took over. By the mid-20th century, Hermès had introduced what would become some of its most iconic pieces, including the Sac à dépêches (later known as the Kelly bag) and eventually the Birkin in the 1980s. As the brand expanded into ready-to-wear, silk, jewellery and homeware, it maintained its reputation for unparalleled artisanal quality and traditional techniques. Today, Hermès remains synonymous with craftsmanship, discretion and timeless luxury, still producing many of its signature goods almost entirely by hand.

This piece from the 2000s era features a high quality heavyweight canvas construction taking on the style of a workwear bomber, with leather detailing across the chest, back and interior. There are 2 standard leather-lined hand pockets, an interior stash pocket and a high-cut ribbed collar for warmth.

Great overall condition with minor signs of wear and slight fade to the exterior canvas that gives it a beautiful subtle worn appearance.
