Giorgio Armani Two-Tone Wool Sweater - 1980s

Giorgio Armani Two-Tone Wool Sweater - 1980s

Giorgio Armani founded Armani in 1975 and began presenting ready-to-wear collections until the early 1980s when the first diffusion lines were created. Emporio Armani & Armani Jeans were both launched in 1981 with the aim of dividing the different design approaches clear individual lines that showcased different styles. The Emporio Armani line aimed to produce a more ‘fashion-forward’ selection of garments that carry the same principles and qualities of the main line, with more unique design approaches. The popularity of this line grew rapidly through the '80s & '90s, becoming one of the leaders of the high-fashion industry by the 2000s.

This particular piece from the 1980s era features a contrasting two-tone construction separated by a unique yellow pinstripe along the side, conplete with the signature golden eagle on the arm.

Great condition with very minor signs of wear.
