Giorgio Armani Patterned Leather Jacket - 1980s

Giorgio Armani founded Armani in 1975 and began presenting ready-to-wear collections until the early 1980s, when the first diffusion lines were created in order to expand the brand into different styles of design. Through the 1980s, Armani’s exceptional tailoring set them apart from other brands and the introduction of softer design approaches and a wider variety of materials through the 1990s, along with the increasing success of the diffusion lines, cemented Armani’s position as one of the most highly respected fashion houses in the industry.

This particular piece from the 1980s era features a fully diamond-pressed patterned leather exterior with a silky lining and purple buttons. There are 2 compartments that can be accessed from the top or the side and a stash pocket on the interior. The collar can be buttoned up or flipped down depending on styling. 

Good overall condition with signs of age - one minor professional repair by the right pocket and a beautiful natural fade on the exterior.
