Giorgio Armani Modular Collar Asymmetrical Leather Jacket - 1980s
Giorgio Armani founded Armani in 1975 and began presenting ready-to-wear collections until the early 1980s, when the first diffusion lines were created in order to expand the brand into different styles of design. Through the 1980s, Armani’s exceptional tailoring set them apart from other brands and the introduction of softer design approaches and a wider variety of materials through the 1990s, along with the increasing success of the diffusion lines, cemented Armani’s position as one of the most highly respected fashion houses in the industry.
This particular piece from the 1980s era features a leather exterior with beautiful grain detailing and a modular collar system that allows the jacket to be worn in multiple different styles. There are 2 standard hand pockets and a stash pocket on the interior. The back has a belt cinch for desired fit as the jacket naturally tapers down towards the hem.
Great condition with very minor signs of wear!
