Giorgio Armani Firenze Exclusive Reversible Bomber Jacket - 1980s

Giorgio Armani founded Armani in 1975 and began presenting ready-to-wear collections until the early 1980s when the first diffusion lines were created. Emporio Armani & Armani Jeans were both launched in 1981 with the aim of dividing the different design approaches clear individual lines that showcased different styles. The Emporio Armani line aimed to produce a more ‘fashion-forward’ selection of garments that carry the same principles and qualities of the main line, with more unique design approaches. The popularity of this line grew rapidly through the '80s & '90s, becoming one of the leaders of the high-fashion industry by the 2000s. 

This particular piece features are silk like construction And takes the form of a typical cool 1980s boxy bomber jacket. This piece is reversible with one navy side that features an embroidered Armani signature golden eagle design with the address of the store located in Firenze that was opened in the 1980s. The reverse side features are wonderful Mediterranean-inspired design.

Great condition with minor signs of wear.
