Giorgio Armani Double-Breasted Leather Jacket - 1990s
Giorgio Armani founded Armani in 1975 and began presenting ready-to-wear collections until the early 1980s, when the first diffusion lines were created in order to expand the brand into different styles of design. Through the 1980s, Armani’s exceptional tailoring set them apart from other brands and the introduction of softer design approaches and a wider variety of materials through the 1990s, along with the increasing success of the diffusion lines, cemented Armani’s position as one of the most highly respected fashion houses in the industry.
This particular piece from the 1990s is made from high quality soft leather with a double-breasted construction. There are 2 hand pockets that have been worked into the panelling of the piece. It features a boxy 90s cut that brands try to replicate today.
Good overall condition with some signs of wear and age - some damage to the inside lining and one missing button at the hem.
