Giorgio Armani Classico Jacket - Loro Piana Storm System

Giorgio Armani founded Armani in 1975 and began presenting ready-to-wear collections until the early 1980s, when the first diffusion lines were created in order to expand the brand into different styles of design. Through the 1980s, Armani’s exceptional tailoring set them apart from other brands and the introduction of softer design approaches and a wider variety of materials through the 1990s, along with the increasing success of the diffusion lines, cemented Armani’s position as one of the most highly respected fashion houses in the industry. 

This particular piece is from the Giorgio Armani Classico line, a division of the mainline created to offer a ‘modern luxury’ design approach with the highest quality materials and an even higher price tag. This particular jacket is constructed from Loro Piana’s Storm System fabric for optimum weather protection. There are 4 main compartments for storage, adjustable cuffs and an adjustable hem. There is a zipper under the collar for a hood to be attached which is unfortunately missing from this piece. Details such as the corduroy collar lining really exemplify the luxury of this line.

Good overall condition - minor signs of wear, missing hood and one cinch at the hem is damaged.
