Futura2000 x Maharishi FHI Zip-Up Hoodie - BNWT

Hardy Blechman founded Maharishi in 1994 with the aim of taking a pacifist approach to military-grade utilitarian design. Maharishi gained huge popularity in the 2000s era due to their great baggy fitting clothing and the wonderful embroidery that usually features on the back of their trousers and jackets. They also gained a cult following by pushing organic collaboration during this period with any creatives, artists and designers that aligned with their ethos.

This fleece-lined hoodie is from a collaboration with Futura2000 and features the legendary Futura signature tag, constructed out of 3M material. There is also stitching surrounding the signature that appears to be inspired by contour lines on maps, one of which is also 3M. The unique adjustable hood features Maharishi’s signature snocord technology, and there is also the mhi mountain logo on the back.
