Emporio Armani Wire Collar Technical Long Coat

Giorgio Armani founded Armani in 1975 and began presenting ready-to-wear collections until the early 1980s when the first diffusion lines were created. Emporio Armani & Armani Jeans were both launched in 1981 with the aim of dividing the different design approaches clear individual lines that showcased different styles. The Emporio Armani line aimed to produce a more ‘fashion-forward’ selection of garments that carry the same principles and qualities of the main line, with more unique design approaches. The popularity of this line grew rapidly through the '80s & '90s, becoming one of the leaders of the high-fashion industry by the 2000s. 

This piece from the late 1990s takes the form of a long coat with 2 standard exterior pockets. It features an extended collar with aremovable wire that allows the collar to hold its form. The waist can also be adjusted oj the fleece-lined interior.

Good condition with some signs of wear and age.
