Emporio Armani Asymmetrical Calf Leather Jacket - 1990s

Giorgio Armani founded Armani in 1975 and began presenting ready-to-wear collections until the early 1980s when the first diffusion lines were created. Emporio Armani & Armani Jeans were both launched in 1981 with the aim of dividing the different design approaches clear individual lines that showcased different styles. The Emporio Armani line aimed to produce a more ‘fashion-forward’ selection of garments that carry the same principles and qualities of the main line, with more unique design approaches. The popularity of this line grew rapidly through the '80s & '90s, becoming one of the leaders of the high-fashion industry by the 2000s. 

This rare piece from the 1990s era features an incredible heavy calf leather construction with an asymmetrical zip system. All the zippers are high quality Lampo zippers, included on both hand pockets and the chest pocket. The collar features a soft corduroy lining for comfort and the overall cut and fit of this piece is simply exceptional.
