Bench Sidewinder Fleece-Lined Softshell

Bench was founded in the late 1980s in Manchester UK amongst a growing youth culture in the city. In the early days, Bench took great inspiration from subcultures like Skateboarding and Graffiti to produce streetwear in their early days but as the brand grew in popularity, they were able to fund the production of a wider range of styles. By the early 2000s Bench was a staple in UK fashion, producing everything from streetwear essentials to technical jackets. 

This particular piece is a great example of Bench’s research and development coming into play to proudce an unexpected technically brilliant piece. It features a softshell construction with fleece lining for warm. There are 2 standard hand pockets and a chest pocket that interlocks with the sidewinding asymmetrical zipper. Minimal branding rounds off a lovely piece from an almost unexpected source.
