2000s Miu Miu White Jacket
2000s Miu Miu White Jacket
Miu Miu was conceptualised in 1992 when Miuccia Prada, head of the Prada Group, felt that she required an outlet for more creative and experimental designs that simply would not conform to the style of Prada’s mainline collections. The first seasons of Miu Miu set the precedent of what the brand would become, with an explosion of colour and styles that enthusiasts had not previously seen from Prada, leading to the expansion of the brand into menswear in the late 1990s. Miu Miu also followed Prada’s technical transformation during this period with collections that embraced technical construction and design lines without becoming too sophisticated. The womenswear is still going very strong today, however the menswear line was discontinued in the late 2000s.
This particular piece from the early 2000s features a cotton canvas construction with standard pockets and details that take inspiration from workwear.
